The names and tours are made up.
A Telegram bot that updates a tour operator's Excel file and makes the invoices.
The brief
Every booking lived in one Excel file, and every change meant opening it.
Payments, tour lists, new dates and invoices were all kept in a spreadsheet and updated by hand. Someone paid the balance? Open the file, find the row, change the cell, make the invoice. Someone new joined a tour? Same again. It worked, but every change waited for someone at a laptop.
What we built
Now the team just texts the bot.
@guramtourbot lives in Telegram, where the team already talks. They write what happened in plain words, and the bot does the spreadsheet work.
- “Nino paid in full.” The bot marks the payment and prepares the invoice.
- “New member on the 21 November tour.” The guest is added to that tour’s list.
- “Add a tour” / “delete a tour”. Tours are created or removed without opening the file.

What changed
The spreadsheet stays. Nobody had to learn a new system or move their data. The team types what happened into Telegram on their phones, and the bot updates the file.
